I know, this is 6 months in advance, but I’m already doing research on what I want to write for my novel. It’s going to have a lot of greek mythology in it, and a mix of fantasy. My inspirations for this one are Tamora Pierce, Christopher Paolini, J.K. Rowling, and some J.R.R. Tolkein.
Notes will come up soon! ![]()
Paolini is roxx0r. I’m also steeling myself for another thirty-day marathon, despite it only being July.
It looks like I’m going to end up doing Yet Another Science Fiction Novel, though. It might not such horribly (like last year’s story =P) since I’m trying to model it after some real life events (abiet with motorcycles, copious amounts of vodka, and explosions).
Good luck. I shall be expecting to see you around the forums in a few months time.
Good luck to you, too. The novel sounds interesting (Hmm, lots of vodka + explosions = very fun indeed). I’ve been working on notes for the better part of a month and a half now. The greek mythology bit is going to be a bit difficult to appeal to those who have studied it in abundance. This is also my first novel/story where I made up the world and cities and so on, so I get to start from scratch. I should probably go work on those right now
See ya in NaNo forums!
